How to Cancel Amazon Music Unlimited Subscription?
It doesn't really matter what is the reason for you to cancel an Amazon Music subscription – it could be that your free trial is ending soon and you don't want to actually pay for the service in the future, or you might be trying to reduce the number of subscriptions you're paying for every month.

Luckily enough, there are several different ways you can cancel this subscription, and none of them are that much complicated. You can cancel your Amazon Music subscription via web browser (either mobile or desktop), an official Amazon Music app for iOS/Android, via iTunes on one of your desktop devices, or even using your iPhone's settings menu.
It should be noted that your Amazon Music subscription does not end as soon as you cancel it – you'll be able to continue using Amazon Music after canceling the subscription and until your current subscription expires. After that, your entire Amazon Music library would be greyed out and you would not be able to play it anymore.
Cancelling via Amazon Music settings web page
So, the main question is – How to cancel Amazon Music subscription? Pretty much all of the cancellation methods consist of several simple steps. In this case, this is the proper order of actions:
- Log into your Amazon account after going to the main Amazon page;
- After logging in, you should be able to see several new menus on the top right of the screen, including the "Account & Lists" menu. Hover over this option to continue;
- In the drop-down list, you'll be able to see a lot of different options, including both your custom lists, last purchased products, as well as your account's settings. This time, you'll need to click the "Memberships & Subscriptions" option to proceed;

- The last step is to confirm your subscription cancellation (a yellow "Confirm cancellation" button, and that is the end of an entire process.
This process is pretty much the same for most mobile web browser users, since Amazon's web interface is not that different for mobile devices, with the only difference being that you have to tap your profile icon instead of hovering over the "Account & Lists" menu to get access to the "Memberships & Subscriptions" menu.
Cancelling via an Android device
Surprisingly enough, cancelling an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription on a different mobile OS is different, since the apps themselves are not universal. The only thing that would be the same here is the process of cancellation via a web interface, since Amazon's web interface is, in fact, universal with different mobile web browsers.
Amazon Music application for Android actually has the option to cancel Amazon music subscription from within the app itself. Here is how you can do that:
- From inside the Amazon Music app, the first step you have to do is to tap the settings icon;
- Right after that, you'll have a number of app-specific settings, as well as the ability to change your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. Choose the option that corresponds with the Amazon Music service to proceed;
- Next, you'll be presented with all of the information about your subscription, as well as the ability to remind you before renewing or to cancel the entire subscription altogether. Click "Cancel subscription" to continue
- The process of cancelling the subscription with Amazon consists of three steps. The first one asks you for a reason to cancel the subscription. The second and the third pages are just asking for the cancellation confirmation. Choose "Submit and continue to cancel", "Continue to cancel" and "Confirm cancellation" on the first, second, and third page, respectively.
Cancelling via an iPhone device
Despite the fact that the functionality of mobile applications for Android and iPhone is relatively similar, there is no option to cancel the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription from the inside of the application itself. iPhone users have two options: to use a web browser with the process described above or to use iPhone's own subscription manager. The second option is the one we'll be describing below.
- You start with accessing your iPhone's Settings application. Right after that, you'll have to click your Apple ID/Name on the top of the screen to access Apple ID settings;
- Apple ID settings page has a separate option for subscription management called "Subscriptions". Click it to proceed;
- After that, you'll be able to see all of your subscriptions on one page, with the ability to cancel each and every one of them right then and there. Choose "Cancel subscription" near the "Amazon Music" option to complete the process.
Cancelling via iTunes
Another possible way of canceling your Amazon Music subscription is using the iTunes desktop application, which also has the ability to manage subscriptions, in general. Here's how you can do that:
- After opening your iTunes application on either PC or Mac, the first thing you have to do is to click the "Account" button on top of the page, and "View my account" to proceed to the "Account" page;
- The "Account" page has a lot of options, as well as a separate "Settings" section. In this section, you'll be able to see several different options, such as Reviews, Alerts, Recommendations, and, of course, Subscriptions. Click the "Manage" button near the "Subscriptions" line to proceed to the subscription management page;
- This would be quite similar to a page on the iPhone device, in which you can see all of your subscriptions on the same page. Find the "Amazon Music" line and click the "Edit" button near that;
- The last thing you'll have to do here is to confirm the cancellation of your Amazon Music subscription.
It would be great to have an option to pause your subscription instead of cancelling it outright, but, unfortunately, Amazon Music as a service does not have the ability to put your subscription on hold – all you can do is either subscribe or unsubscribe.
