How to setup Leaseweb CDN
- Help Center
- March 1, 2020
You should enter the admin panel of Leaseweb by using URL: https://portal.cdn.leaseweb.com/#/login
Go to Configuration, Origins, choose Simple Origin to set your first origin.
Press “Add Origin” and input the description and the host (your website URL). Save the Origin
Choose Distribution Groups and choose Single-CDN.
Press Add to add the distribution group. Enter at least one delivery domain and save the distribution group.
After the distribution group is saved you should enter at least one caching policy.
Set the path as “/”, input the pull origin (choose it from the list) and save the changes. If you need any additional policies you may set them as well.
CDN setup is finished and now you can use CDN service URLs. You should take CNAME Target from the 5th Step and you can use the URLs like di-usaocjf0.sv.lswcdn.net/background.jpg
If you want to use CNAME you will have to go to your domain registration admin panel and make a record for CNAME. You should point the chosen CNAME (for example cdn.yourdomain.com) to target CNAME (di-usaocjf0.sv.lswcdn.net). After DNS propagation you will be able to use URLs like cdn.yourdomain.com/background.jpg
Keep in mind that if you use HTTPS connection you will have to upload a certificate issued for the CNAME you chose.
Update the URLs of your website using new CDN URLs and it’s done.
